HRx Client Success Story
DEF company knew that their
managers needed to receive performance feedback from their employees. We had already created
their performance appraisals based on each job description, but
needed to go one step further. So, HRx created a supervisor appraisal form and gave it to each employee to evaluate not only their own
supervisor, but the other DEF supervisors with whom they interacted.
HRx first tabulated the surveys. Then Arlene met with each department team and explored the supervisor's strengths as well as the issues that
they were facing and how the supervisor could improve the department.
The feedback from the surveys and the focus meetings were
given to each supervisor and we developed actions plans to help each
team and supervisor function more effectively. HRx also developed and
conducted off-site retreats and supervisory training to help the
supervisors enhance their effectiveness.
We are now in our second
round of conducting this process, repeating what we did two years
earlier.
In the surveys, HRx received comments from multiple employees
going through this experience for the second time. One person said: "I look
forward to all the ways the organization is continuing to improve.
